5 Things Not To Miss at the GOTR Latitude Takeover
We’re just days away from our Latitude Festival 2017 Takeover! If you've joined us on the road before, you know what to expect. If this is your first time, we can’t wait to have you with us.
Since 2012, the Stopovers have been about celebrating local culture through a music festival. Each one is unique, thanks in massive part to everyone who gets involved.
Of course, being a Takeover, this time around is slightly different – but the rules are the same, and we’re just as excited to be bringing it to you all.
As a heads up for those joining us, here’s a few things to look out for on Saturday:
1. Stop Off at the GOTR Bar for our own ale
For the entire festival, we’ll be taking over the Sunrise Arena Main Bar, serving our very own local GOTR ale in association with Woodforde’s Wherry.
It’s a quintessential British bitter with a pale malt base, some fruity hints and a dry, hoppy finish – and you’ll be able to find it site-wide. There’ll also be a full range of beer, cider, spirits and bubbles at the GOTR Bar too.
2. Catch Stopover Friends Old & New
After hosting dozens of Stopovers around the world, we’ve met some incredible musicians and creators on the road. This Takeover is no different, so expect some of our favourite acts, some old friends and some new ones across five stages.
3. Re-Fuel with a slice of GOTR Pizza
Yep, you heard. Normally housed at Flat Iron Square in London’s Borough Market, Baz & Fred will be serving up a one-off GOTR Pizza special on Saturday.
4. Visit the War Child & Alzheimer's Society Vans
Between sets, we encourage you to visit both charities who will be on-site to share the incredible work that they do. Donate if you can, and spread the word either way.
5. Grab some limited edition GOTR x Latitude merch
Down at the merch stand, we’ll be selling limited edition GOTR x Latitude Trucker caps and tees. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
See you there!
